Karen Ehlers-Harwell's Profile and Contact Information

My name is Karen Ehlers-Harwell, and I am the President of Karen Ehlers Insurance Agency since 2011. I graduated from Montgomery High School.  My family and I have lived in Montgomery Texas since 1986. After high school, I played golf at Northwood University and graduated with a business degree. I married Roy David Harwell, a teacher/coach with Klein Oak High School in 2010.  We have a beautiful daughter named Callie and a dog named Rascal.

I come from a family of insurance professionals. My father is a retired State Farm agent for more than 35 years of experience.  My brother was a Farmers agent with 16 plus years and joined our company as partner in 2014. My uncle is a retired State Farm adjuster with over 40 years in the business.  In addition, my mother and sister in law Tina also have worked in their husbands agencies. I have worked for both State Farm and Farmers during the summers away at college and given an opportunity as an agency producer for more than 5 years with my brothers Farmers agency. I have gained knowledge and experience working for both companies. Unfortunately for them, they have one set of underwriting guidelines and one rate where I have many different companies so I can shop and find the best value for the money.
